This caterpillar like critter is assembled from a found rubber ball, feathers, found fence, annealed steel wire, copper wire, gut, encaustic, hemlock cones and the legs articulate to move and shift. 11.5X18X11.5

Night Out

The wood is sealed in encaustic and a gift from a friend. I decided she needed a night out and so includes a shawl of hand knotted wire & individual hydrangea flowers sealed in encaustic and found fence. 15X7X7

Bernie

Bernie started with a found feather and found cedar branch. The cedar branch is sealed in encaustic with the tip of some white encaustic. The wire body is 3 layers of woven knotted annealed steel and gut. 22X16X7

Raven

Raven is several layers of annealed steel woven and knotted with gut, pine cone petals, & pieces of feathers. 22X16X7

Tosia

Tosia is a mother turtle made from a variety of found ephemera utilizing sculptural collaging and sewing techniques. SOLD

Gerty

Gerty is an abstract bird made from found fence, copper wire, & walnuts. SOLD

Toni

Toni is made of found fence, annealed steel wire, & several seed flowers sealed in encaustic. The fence was manipulated to form the bird shape and enhance shadows when lit. SOLD
