Aftermath

Randomly woven sections of reed have been created to complete a tree. Each section has multiple textile techniques found items, wire, threads, and the foliage is found objects sealed in gut suspended from brass wire.

Bugging Out

This tree is made of 3 sections with knotted wire sections of gut and wax and embellished with found ephemera and painted cicada bugs sealed in encaustic. Each section represents a story and time in the life of this tree.

Flying Around

Found items create 3 sections to form this tree. Bark, feathers, wire, gut, a coke can, and knotted wire help give a voice to each section of this tree. 47x13x9

I Am Not Trash

Found ephemera all sealed in encaustic, gut, found fence, wire, plastic bottles, have been sectioned together to create a tree.

Pink Lady

3 sections make up this pretty in pink tree. Magenta maple whirly-gigs for section 1, knotted copper wire for section 2, & individual flower petals for section 3. Along with bark, gut, & found objects.

Squirrel Home

Squirrel Home is a large section of bark from a single branch sealed with encaustic. In addition, a double layer of hand knotted copper wire with gut and thread, a found gate hinge, & squirrels made of wire, gut & deer fur. 75”x33”x20”
